Shogun Godzilla was and is my favorite toy from when I was younger. So I made a print of it.
The "Shogun Godzilla" was a popular 18-inch action figure produced by Mattel as part of its 1977 Shogun Warriors toy line. It was a repackaging of Japanese toys, specifically a Jumbo Machinder from Popy, that featured unique gimmicks like a missile-firing fist and a spring-loaded firing tongue. Mattel secured the rights to the Godzilla figure during an expansion of the line, which was initially a huge success in North America and abroad, appealing to kids' interest in giant robots and kaiju.
